FICCI Flow honored 17 women from various fields
Lucknow, March 13, 2021. FICCI Flow Lucknow Kanpur Chapter held its sixth annual FL UP Women Awards today. They selected 17 women from over 600 women who have made special contributions in various fields. Today on Saturday, the FICCI Flow Women’s Awards were held at Visvesvaraya Auditorium, Lucknow.
Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit was the chief guest and Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi was the special guest on the occasion. In his address, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit said that women have always been respected. Today, the task of social change is very big and difficult but FICCI Flow is performing this task well. Flow is a strong organization because it is also different from other organizations. Because its members have immense capabilities and it is capable of bringing social change.
Special guest Additional Chief Secretary Home Avneesh Awasthi appreciated the FICCI Flow Lucknow Kanpur Chapter and said that this organization is making its former contribution towards making women self-reliant. He said that the government should work on the policy of zero tolerance on crime against women If we are strict on small crimes, then there will be a reduction in big crimes on our own. Safety of women is the priority of the government. The present government of the state has recruited women on a large scale in the police force.
Addressing the program, Chairman of Kanpur Chapter, Dr. Aarti Gupta said that due to policy and social reform, women are occupying more and more high positions, today in our country women government provides business higher education, health services and leadership in other areas of life. She has been President of FICCI Flow Lucknow Chapter Pooja Garg said that the sisters whom we are honoring today through these awards have rendered their excellent services in different sections of the society, including women who were in the time of pandemics like Kovid-19. We have also rendered our services to the society. We respect their courage and spirit.
Women to be honored in various categories are Preeti Srivastava, Shagun Singh, Ritu Bhargava, Kriti Gupta, Squadorn Leader Tulika Rani, Chandra Prabha Sharma, Radha Shukla, Om Shree, Sami Bajaj, Pooja Mehrotra, Sonia Singh, Sadhana Ghosh, Deepjali Shukla Bajpai, Reshma Bano, Shweta Dixit, ACP Shweta Srivastava and Dr. Meera Agnihotri.
The dignitaries of the city including Aarushi Tandon, Renuka Tandon, Madhuri Halvasia, Swati Verma, Jyotsna Habibullah, Seemu Ghai, Devanshi Seth, Kanika Vaidya of Flow Lucknow and Kanpur Chapter were present on the occasion.
